As you’re probably already aware, yoga will induce a lot of calmness into your life. When you do yoga, you feel your body like you’ve never felt it before. You grow an awareness of it like you’ve never done before. This will release a lot of tensions inside of you that you might not have been aware of earlier and when tensions go away, well, tensions go away. A sense of more calm and more flow is inevitably going to present itself in ways you can’t even imagine.
All of your memories are stored inside your body. If you’ve had a stressful life, you’re probably quite tense. Getting to those memories will create huge discomfort, especially in the heat where you’re also able to stretch more. The memories will surface and then they will leave you as long as you are willing to let them go. it can get quite emotional actually, but that’s the beauty of it. After a class, you’ll feel a bit lighter, and now you know why.
